Lucia’s Pizza & Spaghetti Bar is located along the western
wall of the Central Market and is iconic in the hearts of South
Australians. It was here, that in 1957 Lucia Rosella, the mother
of current owners Nicci Bugeja and Maria Rosella, first served
pizza in Adelaide. The spirit of Lucia Rosella lingers and her
generosity and love of food remains the philosophy of this family
business.
Fifty years of tradition Lucia’s Pizzeria & Spaghetti Bar continues
much as it did when it first opened some 50 years ago. It is
a South Australian institution loved by all their loyal regulars.
Home–style Italian cooking at its best and fantastic coffee is the base of Lucia’s. Breakfast, pizza, pasta with their famous sauces, wonderful fresh salads and Adelaide’s best selection of small sweet things.
Try a market breakfast complete with spinach, mushrooms and their wonderful
white beans cooked in their own tomato sauce. On Thursday and Friday
enjoy the specials created by their kitchen. Perhaps an Osso Bucco
